Currently, animations are configured for:
Microsoft Netshow ASF encoder version 3.0 at 320x240, 16 kHz Mono, 24 fps
unless otherwise specified. You can download these for smoother video by right
clicking on the "View ASF" and selecting "Save Target As...".
Click here to go to Microsoft's Media
Player Page to download the current 6.4 version.
MPEG-1 VCD White Book compliant at 352x240, 44.1 kHz Stereo, 29.97 fps.
These files are zipped and can be downloaded. The video quality is much
higher for these MPEGs and not all of the animations have them due to space limitations.
Animated Logo
This is the Bogie Graphics Animated Logo (22 seconds) that is
used for the title of my VCD Animation Demo Reel. |

I've split this animation into two separate parts.
CargoDrop1 (31 seconds) and CargoDrop2 (39 seconds). The Type 1 Cargo Station
and Type 2 Cargo Ship both still has many tasks assigned to them including texturing and
decals. |
This is a 17 second animation inspired by the asteroid in DS9's opening
credits. The ASF is high motion so I made the video settings 240x176 16Khz. |
Character Animation
This is a 13 second motion test for one of my characters called
"Spam Jumping Jacks". Incidentally, I do have other models besides space
ships. |
This is an 8 second animation with
some minor lip sync. I am practicing making phonetic morph targets. |
Live Action/CGI
This 23 second animation is a CGI ship merged in with a live
action video source. The tracking points were fairly loose causing some jerkiness,
however the matte shadows turned out better than I had anticipated. |
Realistic Environments
This 13 second animation was to experiment with underwater lighting, caustic effects,
and space warps. The Barracuda mesh was provided by 3D Cafe. |

This is a 20 frame GIF that represents the flag when North America
becomes one. Americanada! |
Or as my Canadian friends like to say...
